Calling all Tony Stark wannabes
So anyways for the past year and a half I have been using a PC based AI called Denise (you can also change the name) made by a company called Guile3d. So here's a brief description of what Denise can do and features: Real time graphical interface, Face recognition, Speech recognition, Text to speech, Email, image browser, media player, web radio, maps, translation, Optical Character Recognition, Google search, Kiosk Studio (One of the best out there), Web TV, M.I.T START search, SDK, Kinect Interface, there is also a brain editor so you can build from scratch or improve the AI knowledge base, you can integrate with 3rd party software and there is also E-mail/Forum/System analysis support, That's just a handful of the hundred of features and abilities with this AI. Some of the future features are Home automation, Avatar SDK and store, 3d world avatar system (I'm hoping they will support the Oculus Rift for this one) GPS, Car integration, Mobile companion, Phone answering module and also a 2nd level AI brain. So how many people have heard of Guile 3D and do people yet have an interest for products like this? I know with Siri and Google now there seem to be a lot of people getting interested in Virtual assistants but they are so limited and everything is done server side with no way of teaching or editing what they know. So what do you all think?
Also if you are interested in advanced personal assistance like this and probably the closest thing to Jarvis that we have right now you can follow development on there facebook page or website. I know right now there product is still in a beta like phase but it's still a very impressive piece of software and definitely a first of its kinds.
