Cockpit made out of cardboard

If I was going to build myself a DIY cockpit, I would build this:



Looking at it, it really doesn't look that hard to build (something similar). 6 monitors, 2 joysticks, 2 throttles, 2 rudder pedals, 2 seats, a handfull of lights and sim panels, 8 "LCD SFF display panels", 2 acrylic panels, a CNC machine, and a bunch of aluminum / steel / metal to work with.

I had an a10 replica cockpit, size was an issue and I knew it would be tough to keep it with my other pit needing to go in to the room.

The rift was the reason I downsized it all. So from my experience, when you go with the rift as I have why on earth would you want a huge space consuming pit that you cannot see or interact with? Without the rift, my pit was the dogs bollocks.

How can i make the flightsimulator
(A10 warthog) Run on the oculus? I have the latest Version (1.1.1.1) of the flightsimulator sim and the oculus been updatet (with the runtime 4.2). But i have no options to activate oculus in the Game, i use the Virtual Desktop, i can Play the sim in the oculus but without headtracking and any 3D. I've Seen the flightsimulator on Youtube run on oculus rift ( http://youtu.be/4xiV5Y4nhQE )
Would be great if it Works, then i could make it more popular. All my Friends Are very interested to See how far can the oculus get the Virtual Reality. I want To test the: DCS A10 (if its working
like the Video)

the latest Version, i want to make it work by my Self, its a project for my own bliss.
If this would work, i would make more offers to you, i have many Friends,they are very interrested in the oculus rift. I have to say, if the Display could go up to 4k, it would be Fine. But i would like to say 16k makes it Perfect, the headtracking can be a bit faster, but it still be awesome. Thanks for supporting me in my Little flight sim Problem, please Tell me the version of the Game and oculus working the best.

. I will make a new System when i have the Knowledge about the oculus rift. Its not the finally System, but its the beginning of a beautyfull Future of virtual Reality. I Gratulate for this Peace of very importand technology. It make's our life better. Alot of good Things are going to happen

If Its Working more comfortable to the Users, and the finaly requirements are finaly for the consumer oculus rift. Well i Hope for a quickly answer about my important Problem with the A-10 flightsimulator from dcs.
