Ever wish you could just rip someone's hands off?

I should have gotten screenshots for you guys. I normally wouldn't rant, but I was just in a short conversation on the Facebook virtual reality page, trying to help someone understand (Gently) that their AMD APU laptop would not be able to run the DK2 in any working capacity. All the while, a poorly spoken young lad was belittling me and attempting to derail any and all assistance that I tried to give, claiming that I obviously didn't know anything after my ten years in IT, and my EET degree. I'm not even joking, he told me that my college degree and my IT training means absolutely nothing.

At one point, they were talking about how he had 64Gb RAM in his $800 laptop, and the kid mentioned his "dell core duo 34 byte". He was just going to the ends of the earth to convince this guy that his cheap laptop could handle the DK2. Normally I would assume that someone was trolling, but this kid was dead serious. It irks me so strongly that we can't do something to get rid of all these horrible influences on the VR community. It all leads to more people having a terrible first time experience, and then they go spread the word that VR is crap.

TL:DR = People are dumb, and they try to spread the dumb.

That was my rant, I'm sorry. I'm very tired, so it is likely to be loaded with grammatical error and typo alike.

Well, now I'm well rested and not grumpy :)

I ended up just leaving the Facebook page. Some people there would rather have kids trolling and posting false information to lead people astray than have someone complain about the kids trolling and posting false information. I understand that not everything can be moderated, but I don't wish to see the idiocy that gets posted by misinformed people who think they know everything, despite all evidence pointing towards the opposite.

Thank the heavens we have a gated community here, where the worst we really have to deal with is The Baba.
