someone created a fake meta acct and linked it to my facebook
I can not remove the link on facebook, as it requires authentication with the fake meta account.
the fake meta acct uses 2fa.
How can I get this Meta acct deleted from Meta, and unlinked from Facebook.

I have had the same issue and I can't find help. Someone created a fake meta account in my name and connected it to my facebook account and locked me out. I was able to verify my identity with facebook and regain control of my facebook account, however, the fake meta account still exists and is still linked to my facebook. I created a new Meta account that is actually me, but can't connect it to my facebook account, because the fake account, with someone else's email address, is connected to my facebook account. I NEED HELP!!!! WHY IS IT SOOOOO HARD TO GET HELP FROM META!!!!!! Meta should not make it SO impossible to get help. It took me a full day to get help from facebook, but It's taken over a week so far and I still can't get help from Meta. TONS of fraud is being committed against people here and they should have people to help.

Make sure your privacy settings on Facebook are strict to prevent other fake accounts from linking to your profile
That’s really frustrating! Try reporting the fake Meta account through their help center, and reach out to Facebook support for help unlinking it. Hang in there!
