Far Cry 5
Anybody been playing it - what are your thoughts? I don't want to really discuss the "political" aspects of this game because they are superficial at best and honestly not really worth discussing. ...

Really enjoyed the 1st 2 games in the series, absolutely loved the combat in FC2 with fires breaking out mid fight in the dry grasses etc due to the odd explosion. Loved the whole "Hearts of Darkness" type atmosphere of it.
Didn't think much of FC3 but still played it to completion and did the co-op missions with a mate. The whole setting just felt too theme park like and contrived. Lots of useless pickups that were there only for the sake of dinging achievements and nothing else. Main protagonist was a twat, and in fact the only likeable character in the game was that German merc on the second island. Didn't bother with FC4 after that.
So rather looking forward to playing this one.
