Force myself to VR?

Can anyone recommend ways to get more into VR? Maybe some games which are game changers and wow factors, whether they are native or flat2vr. I own a very good system paired with the Quest 3, but never find the urge to actually play! I'm finding that I'm more satisfied watching UEVR videos on YouTube that actually playing myself...

  • Hi wukanmu2 🙂

actually, there is no reason to force yourself to play.

If you are happy with what you are doing, everything is fine.

    Anyways, games I like are:

Beat Saber, Pistol Whip, all kind of puzzle adventures like Myst, Riven, The room, Ghost town, the "I expect you to die series" and so on. Asgard's Wrath 2 is awesome, "The last clockwinder" is a really cute and fun game.

.....you will probably get tons of other suggestions by the forum😉

Many games have a free trial, so you can check them before buying them.

Maybe add a secondary account to your headset and use it for these trials. So your main library will only contain the games you like and it won't be cluttered with stuff you'll never touch again.

  • I agree with Choleni. No need to force yourself into something.

    But for recommendations:

Arcade games are always nice for a quick game, such as robo recall, space pirate trainer or beat saber (of course).

I liked the "Mages Tale" a lot. Playing felt really a little like magic and the puzzles inbetween were really nice.

And the "Archers Tale" was amazing too. The aiming mechanism with the bow and the special arrows are really nice gimmicks.

Half-life Alyx was nice with that pickup mechanism.

And it may really sound stupid but: Google Earth VR is really mind-blowing... Flying around and looking at your own city and walking with street view feels... Hmm I don't know how to describe... Just try it yourself;)

I hope you can find something interesting that brings you joy;)
