Yes it is true. I couldn't find any 5 letter .com domain names. All of them were already taken and most of them were kept parked for sale. When i desperately needed a 5 letter domain name, I contacted the domain name holder and made a bargain for getting the domain name. I got the contact details of the domain name holder by having a whois search at http://www.WhoisXY.com/ . It was very useful for me.
