Going from amd r9 270 to gtx 1060

Does it matter in what order I change the drivers? For example should I remove the amd drivers first, reverting back to integrated gpu > pull old gpu > put in new one > install the latest drivers for the gtx; in that order, or does it even matter? May be a bit of a stupid question, but I'm curious.
  • It's best if you uninstall the video drivers before removing the card. When it's done, turn off the computer, and swap the cards. Windows 10 is actually really smart now, and will download the latest video driver automatically, so you can just boot up and wait a few minutes. Or you could download the driver you want first and have it ready to go.
