How on earth do you update a Benq monitors firmware?

Question

I ask because I need the latest firmware to allow the DP port to be able to use the monitors 144Hz Refresh rate, I'm capped at 60Hz with the current firmware and can only use the Dvi-D to get 144Hz, but I need that port for my 3D projector. I have a Benq&nbsp;XL2720Z, and I though it would be as simple as downloading some firmware to a usb stick. How wrong I was, so how the hell do you update the firmware on this monitor? Cheers!

I found that thread already, but cheers! I tried ringing Benq and they are useless. Some of their Tech support say my monitor is capable of running at 144Hz using a DP cable and others says it is not. I think all their Techs need a good training day to work out which ones right. I've now had to order a whole bunch of cables to test and see what happens..
