- AnonymousSorry i cannot believe this, it is obviously an illuminati/facebook conspiracy to make htc look bad
Vivarians / zenbane to the rescue?? - We only have about 2 or 3 Vivarians left on the forum, so either we won't hear much about it or we will hear a lot of argument dodging, like switching the debate back on to Facebook.
I am tempted to go search the steam forums to see how they are handling the news amongst themselves. - AnonymousHaha i was only teasing @elboffor comment at you being a vivarian :)
Tbh though it is the way of this world tracking and sales. I never fully understood the Facebook issues, millions a day use it and come away unharmed - One day a new type of Cancer will be discovered... and it will be blamed on (and possibly named after) Facebook!

Or that it's not just facebook. If you utilize the internet in anyway, your activity is being tracked. - elbofforConsultantIn england you spend more time on camera or in ear shot of a mic than not.
Privacy is dead. Lets just hope the adds show us stuff we actually like. The oh adds are shit so they should step up their game. - I bet the ads will show that Vive users spend most of their time researching Oculus titles.
- kevink808SuperstarDon't have anything to hide? Then stop worrying about privacy. No idea how the bedwetters out there sleep at night.

- YoLolo69TrusteeI found this information reliable. I mean : with current browsing usage, do you really look at all those AD around the text you're reading on your usual websites? Possibly you even have AdBlock? With VR and the sweet spot in our headset which mean you directly look at the center, or the future headsets which include eyes tracking, they will be able to say for sure you spend exactly xx milliseconds or more on this or this AD. That's useful information for AD companies, and the ones selling AD space. Now the fact it's specifically HTC or other I don't know. I just know this is one of the reason companies will develop eyes tracking, for optimizing display, and following what we look at...
