I did in fact love Idiocracy. But, I can't help but be partially embarrassed that I liked it as much as I did. It's great, but it's REALLY stupid humor. I mean, it's amazing and I quote it all the time, but it still makes me ashamed I want some extra big ass fries and some gatorade.
Edit: also, not to derail the original poster's topic and start talking 'bout idocracy. I am personally ok with self-driving cars. I'm just wondering if they are going to be aggressive drivers and merge quickly or if they'll let other drivers in, etc. Like really, are they going to be nice drivers or jackass drivers? If a self driving car is going to be that one guy who speeds in the right lane where there's a parked car, then merge insane last second inches from death... I don't want to ride in them. But, if they see the parked car 10+ car lengths away, then nicely merge, I'm ok.
