I need better modelling skills :(

Took me 6 hours yesterday to design a box in 3dsMax.. /sigh. Hopefully, the animation and UVMapping will go by a bit faster :?

    It's nothing to look at, just a box (so far).. once I finish adding morph targets, uvw mapping, and texturing, I'll post a demo of the animations.

    I screwed it up big time though, and doing some research on how to make it look like I didn't screw it up :lol: Sucks that the morph modifier requires the target object having the same amount of vertices >< (during the modelling phase, I was "optimizing", and welding vertices that shouldn't have been welded.. oops)

    edit: It was too far gone to use ~ going to need to do some magic in UE4 to swap the objects out without it being noticed by the player :(

    edit 2: animations are done.. UVW mapping tomorrow, heh

  • Simple animation test scene (rendered in 3dsMax).. need to fix the walls.. and the bloody thing didn't render out the entire animation :roll: Oh well. The "office" behind this area is pretty interesting, although, can't show that yet.

    Once I fix all of the models, get them textured, LOD'd, and put into UE.. then I'll show off some good stuff (i hope!) ;)
