Ideas: HP Lovecraft VR Experience? God Helmet?
I'm just gonna blurb out ideas I have that might make for cool VR projects in the hopes that someone will want to do it.
1. Adopting some short Lovecraftian stories might be really awesome, even if it's just a theme-park ride kind of experience, not as full blown games. I get chills just reading those books, I might need a poop bucket with OR.
The God/Koren Helmet or Shatki helmet from Michael Persinger, Todd Murphy et al is one of the only well known, well researched, commercially accessible neural stimulation technology that produces dramatic psychological and/or paranormal effects.
If you're not familiar with it, go ahead and google/youtube some of those names.
I'm actually as much afraid as excited about the prospect of combining a robust VR game with that kind of neural stimulation.
