If you could recreate a scene from any movie/show/book/etc. in VR...

Movies, shows, random youtube videos, games, books, whatever...  if you could recreate a particular scene from any piece of media in VR to immerse yourself in that scene as though you were there, what would you pick?  Also, would you want to have the PoV of a character FROM that scene, or just view it as a bystander?

Personally, I'm going to go with David Lynch's "Rabbits",  just sitting there in the living-room set with the rabbit people and trying to endure the sheer discomfort that Lynch was so good at provoking. :grimace:

How about you guys?

    This already exists but is not yet publicly available that I know of: Climbing the White Wall in Game of Thrones.

    I'll also take pretty much anything from the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind.

    Way too many to choose a favorite or anything, though one off the top of my head, seeing Alex attempt to survive Furnace Penitentiary. Even more specifically, when he has to get to his cell before the hounds catch him. I think that would be pretty intense and gripping to watch.

    First that comes to mind is fighting Thread, Dragonriders of Pern series.

    Interesting. I watched Rabbits a long time ago, and if I remember correctly, the contents of the television weren't revealed. If you were in the scene, you'd be able to see the TV screen. I wonder what would have been on it.

    Inside the 3D, VR recreation of the set of Rabbits, the TV would be showing the original film, in perfect synch.

    That, or a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

    Saving Private Ryan Beach scene. That would be an incredible feat to pull off.

    I'm starting to remember now. You're right, Rabbits takes place in a set, because it's supposed to be a "sitcom." So if you're in the VR recreation, there'd be no fourth wall. There would be a "live" (?) "audience" (?). This is a crazy idea.
