If you hit a female cgi character in VR, does that amount to the promotion of domestic violence?

I wonder what that would mean and would Oculus allow it?

  • I think it promotes punching people, or are we talking about beating the snot out of your spouse in Fallout 4 before the nukes fall?

    You can actually do this in virt a mate. However there are no canned reactions.  I think until we have AI that reacts to user input in these experiences then no it's just the user slapping/punching an inanimate object in the form of a person. 

    No I don't agree it promotes domestic violence much in the same way Call of Duty doesn't promote war and gunning random people down.
