Kapture - record audio that has already happened
I figure everyone on this forum is interested in innovative technology. Well I stumbled upon this very cool concept the other day. It's a wearable device that continuously records audio, and with a single tap you can save the last 60 seconds to the device as well as to your smartphone.
Think about it. At any time AFTER the fact, you can go back and save the last 60 seconds... A conversation you had, a promise someone made to you, a request that you don't have time to write down, a really funny joke or a memorable moment, a song you heard on the radio but couldn't Shazam in time, or maybe you came up with a great line for a song but it slipped from your mind right after you said it. Maybe you got into a car accident--just yell out the license plate of the guy who hit you before he drives away. Maybe your newborn baby just said his/her first words--no problem. All of these unanticipated events that you wish you could've captured, now they're just one tap away.
There are so many more situations this concept can apply to. I backed it almost immediately cuz the idea blew my mind. I know this is probably coming off as an advertisement but honestly it's the first cool idea I've heard since the Rift that really impressed me, so I had to share it.
