Keep Controllers

Now that I have the touch controllers do I really need the Xbox controller and that little remote controller for anything or will it just get in the way if I keep it since it does use a USB input if for any reason I need them what could I use them for?

  • For those titles that don't have Touch support?

Also note that touch controllers may not be ideal for a gamepad game as it's going to be quite hard to press A or B if you also want to move around using the thumstick at the same time.

(pointed out by the guys from Tested as I hadn't even thought about that yet)

Use them for games that don't support touch if you like any of them.  Put it away, use it for other games you might play outside of VR.  I don't think they're useless personally.
  • You guys are right, but like 5 years back I invested on a pair of USB devices two CronusMax and two TitanOne I can play with any controllers on any devices I am not bound to any controllers I can use Ps4 on Xbox and vice versa it also has map packs and you can customize the buttons any way you like made it easier for me instead of having so many controllers I have to buy since I have alot of devices, right now I am working on trying to use the touch controllers on the HTC vive and the HTC vive controllers on the Oculist Rift just to see if it works it worked for the PSVR.
  • Touch won't work on the Vive because they communicate directly with the headset as well as the sensors.
  • That is the cool thing about these USB devices it replicates the signal used between each other it could be a HTC vive controller on a Oculus Rift and since the USB is between both of them making Oculus think it is a Oculus Rift controller I do it all the time on other devices way harder to connect to each other you connect by wire or Bluetooth and also bought these adapter I can connect them by both wi-fi signals they are awesome gadgets.
  • I've been using mine for my RaspberryPi with RetroPie on it to play my old arcade games
