- Anonymous"FORK" is not a swear word.
I don't rage, but I have been known to say bugger once in a while. - I laugh and say, 'well that sucks.'
Then I go do something else constructive. - LuciferousConsultantflappy birds on my amazon fire TV, I don't normally swear much but when I am playing it I'm like someone with Tourette's on crack.
- falken76Expert ConsultantWay back in my younger days, I remember one game in particular, TechnoCop on Sega Genesis or Sega MegaDrive for those across the pond. That game pissed me off so much I swung my controller above my head like a helicopter blade and let it fly into the wall. I've calmed down over the years, now I just turn the game off and do something else. But I remember the days of gamer rage well...
- FazzHonored VisionaryBack in the day I broke a joystick, it became unresponsive when fighting some end of level dudes on an old computer. I had 3 lives left and it had taken me ages to get to that level. I remember shouting "look I'm moving left/right/up and it's not doing anything." I then began pressing every button, but could only watch as all my hard work was undone. I listened to the voices on screens such as aaaaaahhhhh, but it all became to much and I pull my joystick apart after that. I learn't my lesson though because had to pay for another joystick.

You are the fun police Zenbane, that is why all your gamers rage is politically correct. - Log_a_FrogHeroic Explorer

Ive been there.. LOL..
I slam on the button on the controller and go 'Look I pressed it.. I pressed it.. FORK me @! Then threw it' and yeh I just bought a new controller recently and im 41.
I think you can get gamers rage at any age. It does not discriminate. - Anonymous
Pretty much same here Zenbane - I usually just move on until I am ready to try again. Some games I just move on from permanently if the part is just stupid difficult - stink-eyeing the Steam icon with disdain from time to time.

I haven't had the game rage though for a number of years now. I must have mellowed with age or just got better at gaming, or not taken cheap design techniques so personal. I still swear a lot though (apparently, this is good for stress).
I find driving in London far more rage inducing to be honest. - Log_a_FrogHeroic Explorer
