Pretty sure they're gonna mess it up, but I will give them a chance to prove me wrong.

I like the idea of a live action movie, but I would echo Cyber... not likely they will get it right. I will still give them my money to see it though.

I have to say I have doubts about Johansson pulling off the role of the Major. They also don't have Richard Epcar yet. He said he had to audition for the part. If he's not in it I won't even bother to see it. I met him at NebKon and I was pleasantly surprised how personable he was. He even agreed to do VO work for a friend of mines fan project.

Richard doesn't really seem to look the part though.
Unless they do it darth vader style, Richard for voice and someone else for body. :)

Another Scarlett Johansen Movie? Count me in... whats it about? :P

There's also a new animated film coming later this year in Japan.

Wasn't another season of the animated series coming as well? I have only watched English voice overs, so I usually have to wait a while.

Well GiTS Arise was out last year, not sure if you mean that or that they are making more.

I thought it was fun, worth a watch for sure.
