I agree with Lane, if you stretch your budget a little into the 450$ range, you can buy something like the Canon T3i or the Nikon D5100, which are great SLR for your hobby of photography, plus record video at 1080p30, and have an external 3.5mm mic jack.
You can achieve professional quality if you just add a tie-clip microphone (they are very cheap and can isolate your voice very well from ambient noise) and a basic tripod (that is needed because focusing with a DSL can be challenging while doing a video, but it can be rewarding since you seem to be passionate about photography)
