Not funny... If I were you I would think twice before buying Oculus again.

if the 2nd hand seller was a business it seems he has some comback on the seller, but if it was a private sale, then looks like caveat emptor to me :(
(which sucks and i feel for him).
There are some things i buy 2nd hand without hesitation, usually when it is something bullet proof or so old that its simply impossible to get new any more so its Hobson's choice.
other times a bargain can be so good its worth the risk
however something like the rift which point 1 is not relevant and am guessing neither is point 2, i would not dream of going 2nd hand just for a few quid saving.
i doubt sony would honour a 2nd hand psvr, neither htc with 2nd hand vive, so @blastamasta what VR HMD do you know has a transferable warranty that you are suggesting OP should buy 2nd hand?
I sold my DK2 in December 2015, i fully tested it before selling, packaged it v carefully, and the buyer received it and confirmed it worked as described. Had he got back to me a while later saying it was broken, I would have apologised but explained there was nothing i could do, after all, how would i know how it was treated in the time the new buyer had hold of it?.
