Meta support stole a game from me?

Hi

I need a real person to fix my problem, please.

  1. I got a gift game from my friend in form of a code.
  2. I couldn't redeem it due to a known bug causing the "redeem gift" option to be absent if user played a trial version of the game.
  3. 10 emails from support bots with ai nonsense. Nothing I wrote is read. I asked if I should send them  the game code if this could help getting the problem solved sooner. They asked for the code. I typed in into the email response and sent to them, meta support. Nobody ever shared it anywhere else.
  4. Now the bot responding to my ticket says the code is already redeemed somewhere and asks me to check other emails/acccounts, which is the type of nonsense unrelated to anything I meant. I never had any other accounts or different emails. 
  5.  I responded and got exact same copy paste response from meta's support as before, just with a different support agent's name.

Of course I'm contacting the real support via official channel.

 

I'm not sure if ai response system brainfarts so  much or I really got robbed by Meta's support

Can anyone here help?

    Not sure if posting here helped or not but suddenly I received another email from support informing me they fixed the problem with the bug blocking the option "redeem gift" on meta store page. I finally got the opportunity to enter a code. Not only that, my code worked, so was not redeemed by anyone, contrary to what the previous (supposedly AI) response claimed.

    I even received apologies. It's nice when actual competent person shows up on the other side. I will need a VR session of Walkabout Minigolf to forget all the stress this whole thing have caused :) 

    I think implementing a disfunctional AI as support is the worst idea.
