    I didn't see this anywhere

The search button comes in handy. Perception Neuron is already being discussed and one of it's developers is a member of this forum and has been talking about it here since 2013. There's even some forum users complaining that he talks about it too much on here. :)

    Thanks man.
By the way, luckily we reached the funding goal, and we'll definitely try our best to make a good input device for this community.

Congrats. Over 1.5 times the goal with 5 days to go. :)

And now, with 31 hours to go they are at 2x the goal, pretty impressive. The Super VR backer deal ($375 for 30 neuron set) is still open for Oculus Rift Dk1 kickstarter backers btw, in case anyone had missed that offer. They seem very open for integrating with other systems, apparently they have been talking with Sixense (as in STEM). Obviously a STEM on the back of each hand plus neurons on the fingers would be pretty amazing. And more neurons would alleviate many of the IK problems of only having 5 tracking points.
  • $571,908 is the final sum, not bad at all.
Now lets just hope that it will get support in games.

EDIT: They sold 1321 sets so i i think we will get some devs making supporting games. :)

Huh... Thought this was about the neurons in the human retina which process most of our vision.

Does anyone think this has the potential to set the standard? I imagine whoever comes out with the first full functioning and affordable VR gloves first will win the title.
