My Ambition
Hey Forum,
I suppose I should take some time to compose a detailed report, outlining my ambitions for VR and beyond!
Opening Statement: This list is subject to change, evolve, and grow!
Absurdity; mobile app
-Instant anonymous fun
-unlike any chat you have ever experienced before; trolling flaming, fighting, ranting, raving and role-playing is highly encouraged
-sell it for $4.20: "if you cant afford $4.20 then you are not mature enough to handle the absurdity"
-a very interesting social experiment; was thinking about using an anarchy symbol for the logo
-reconsidering this due to some foreseeable ethical concerns regarding the usage of anonymous messaging apps...
Silo; webapp
-silo has been an interesting ambition that has changed drastically over the years
-essentially it revolves around the vertical nature of newsfeeds
-the current iteration is a third party newsfeed aggregate with an associated leaderboard
-want to experiment with different ways to visualize newsfeeds
Bridge to a mobile world;
-this is my original ambition that has stuck with me for many *many* years
-i intend to make a thin client server like infrastructure standard in all homes
-in essence i seek to classify the "computer" as an appliance required by law for landlords to provide for their tenants; much like washers dryers and refrigerators
-by considering the computer an "appliance" a modular design could replace the waste producing "product design" form factor
-home computers will be more like home server racks where boards could easily be upgraded/replaced as needed
-i want to take the computers out of the living space equation entirely and put them in a utility closet with a refrigerator/dehumidifyer like design in order to keep the heat down and isolate it from the environmental conditions of the home
-that way going forward we can focus on designing beautiful human interfaces in very interesting ways
-radically different computer experience; when you enter your home you are essentially logging onto your computer
-software raid; that seeks to interconnect storage across mobile devices, internet apps and the home server as one logical storage volume that can easily and automatically scale content and data dynamically across all the interconnected physical storage mediums
-in essence this will attempt to ensure you never run out of storage on any one particular device
AI;
-this is a recent ambition and realization
-aside from some global calamity, ubiquitous AI is one factor that could potentially facilitate social progress across all nations and cultures
-there is also a potential that AI could be programmed for use to enforce social control
-my idea for artificial intelligence is radically different from any other idea
-in that i intend to create an AI indirectly without any pre-determined ontology goal or classification
-in essence I want to ensure that AI would rely on humanity to show it the world and to teach it like you would a child
-its is thought that if everyone of all races ethnicity and intellect were to be involved it its development then it would be impractical for any organization, entity or ruling body to control/own AI and thus limit access to it for monetary gain
make voice recognition FUN;
-voice recognition and AI kind of go hand in hand...
-but it has always been my intention to make voice recognition fun and more then just a means of input for many many years now
-in that i want to pioneer the idea of user generated lexicon databases on top of some ubiquitous open source free voice recognition platform with an open data infrastructure such as wit.ai
-i call it "personality layers" that essentially take a generic response and switch out and adds words to said response
-these personality layers could tie into relevant content more easily
-rather then make a digital assistant that knows everything for everyone i want to make fragmented platform of digital assistants that knows whatever is relevant to their personality extremely well.
explanation of personality layers;;
-i create a Mr Miyagi personality and you create a Chuck Norris personality
-the user would ask the personalities what the weather is like
-the generic response is a temperature measurement of say 30 degree Fahrenheit
-mr miyagi would respond with "look inside yourself to overcome the coldness that awaits you'
-chuck norris would say "man up you pussy its cold outside"
also of note;
-by associating personality to aggregated content and awareness one could easily use this RSS feed like data to generate automated queries for the user
-for example lets say a user interacts with a "sport fan" personality layer. it would essentially use the aggregated content to be like "whoa did you see the news player x got traded to team x" or "hey man big game coming up should i order you some tickets"
beatlab;
-I have been an intern for beatlab for at least 3 three now
-it is my intention to utilize whatever excess revenue or capital i gain to invest in beatlab
-it is an amazing web based sound organizer that is inherently social
-but there is lots of room for improvement...
Revolving Door;
-this is my VR specific ambition
-it is my intent to revolutionize the way we interact with computers using HMD and positional tracking in a very interesting way
-my intuition is that "revolving door" is the first step towards accomplishing that goal

of course my ambitions go deeper;
-i intend to design a vertical solar powered dynamo generator inside a standing pole with the inner wall lined with magnets from the top all the way down and the rotating body being a vortex like structure that rotates via solar power
-i intend to start a company that builds an infrastructure of wireless power transfer for tesla vehicles that is capable of charging an electric car while in use and in motion
-i want to invest and manage a company that build massive monorails linear mag lev style but enclosed in huge tube like structure to eliminate air resistance
-many many other ambitions :)
