My Birthday Wish for Everyone!
Back on March 21, when I paid in-full through PayPal for a DK2, I had high hopes that I might actually receive it on or before my July 9 birthday this year.
Obviously, it is clear now, that my purchase 50 hours after the DK2's went on sale, when there were roughly 16,000 orders ahead of mine, will push my unit into (at least) August; so I won't have my personal birthday gift to myself until then. Not really a problem for me, as I understand manufacturing issues all to well.
I'd rather have it Right, rather than Right Now.
So my new Birthday Wish, is that some of you early purchasers will at least get your email notifications today; so I'll feel like those notifications are still part of my birthday celebration too!
And if the notifications don't start showing up today, I'll still consider them belated birthday presents when they do!
I don't need to be first; because I'll still be happy reading about everyone receiving their notices and DK2's too!
