Love this video! Funny how so many of these clips have people reacting without any kind of surround sound or headphones on. Audio only magnifies the realism.

She was using my 5.1 speaker system, but the volume was quite low and we were all speaking and making noise. But I like how she perceives the sound of the antlion from her right, and then she turns her head towards the sound source. Virtual reality makes everything natural.

About 50% of the people I have demoed the rift to (mostly non-gamers) cant do the rift coaster demo it freaks them out so much. I find a good strategy for freaking people out is to use the power of suggestion. Before doing the demo, I ask them are they afraid of heights and do they get travel sick. This implants the idea that the demo is going to be very intense before they even start!
