Mynew toy(s) inc! Finally..

Right, so I've been to every local hardware store, and no one sells this. Double ya tee eff. I finally put down the $50 in shipping/handling for 12 of these guys:



Hoping to have the project this is for completed by March/April.. I hope. Details on the use of this notwithstanding, but the modification that this is used for, sold complete, would cost about $1500 USD. I can piece it together for $600. :roll:

    Not much help if you aren't in australia, but Bunnings have them for around $2.50 each.

    Yea, def not an Aussie, but I checked all of the mom-and-pops hardware shops, Lowes, and Home Depot. They sell similar products, or ones that are too big for what I need em for, and speaking to sales people / management, its one of those items that everyone agrees they should have, and when we look for them, they're all bewildered at why they don't have them :?

    There is a post deep within these forums that gives a hint, as long as you recognize it as such. I do not suspect that anyone here would recognize the post for what it is though.

    Guess 2: Did you buy Victor Entertainment, and you need 2 chains per letter to hang the first word from your office building? (That other post is a bummer btw. Sorry that happened to you.)

    Anyways, I can't believe that the company that implemented the D-rings into the other things wanted to charge $1500.. I might get into the business, since that is some crazy !@#% profit.

    I heard a new movie that just came out recently wasn't that good. Lack of chemistry amongst the characters and, well, from reviews, the movie is just boring. Eh, might go see it anyways if I have time at some point this week or next. From the reviews this movie got, I'm thinking that the attorney movie is probably better. I wish hollywood would realize that if they stuck to the concepts behind the subject matter, that movies such as these would come out far better. But what do I know, right?

    One other thing that is rather.. amusing to me, is the fact that people tend to disregard stuff when they don't have any experience in it. Such as VR.. you see people all the time saying what a joke VR is when they have never even experienced it. :roll:
