New Build for Oculus - Suggestions welcome
This is a build using parts of my current system and some significant upgrades. Components without a price are ones I already own and that will be transferred to the new system. Feel free to sug...

Here's my logic:
CPU - 6600K is probably the best value for money at the high end. The 6600K can overclock up to 4.5ghz if desired.
CPU Cooler - I'm using an Evo 212 CPU cooler now and it works well. I don't really want to get into liquid cooling unless I have to. From most reports the 212 air-cooling works just as well as the H60 liquid cooling.
RAM - 8GB is fine for now, but RAM is cheap and 16GB helps future-proof. The G.skill V DDR4-3000 series hits the sweet spot of bandwidth per dollar. I'm open to other brands.
OS (Win 10) on the SSD and nearly everything else on the 1TB 7200 hard drive.
I will use my EVGA GTX 970 for now. If pascal blows it out of the water, this system is well positioned to support an upgrade.
Fractal Design R5 - Nice elite case with filters. My current Antec 900 can't keep up with the dust and fur generated by our household.
