New Poll.. Please provide feedback how we can support Oculus make more sales with meaningless buzz.

It is time to add buzzwords and flimsy descriptions to enable Oculus to sell more Units.
Anyone else have something??
Why?? well we have seen the emergence of VR Ready claims without stating why. Heatsinks on RAM when overclocking does RAM nothing unless your a 7zip user with a large mainframe. Overclocking motherboards for CPUs that really doesnt make significant purposeful differences other than reduce the life of your cpu. Overpriced motherboards where the main features are red colours and led lights. Usb 3.1 that no-one cares about and some other thingy.
It is all there. These pointless meaningless claims make companies large money.
So lets help out. We dont want another scandal on our hands.

I came across another one. Surround sound software options for your headphones via windows.
I think it must be a realtek thing. But can you really get surround sound our of 2 headphone speakers?

I got to say tho. Oculus spftware does it well. I love their headphone sound. Said it many times and so have others.

Now this one is just ridiculous. Everyone knows that red goes faster.

It is just the matter of putting 'High Speed' in front of everything without reference to what high speed is in comparison to something else. What about Translucent, it doesnt make sense.

If the Mellinium Falcon can make the Kessel run in under 12 parsecs which is a unit of distance anything is possible.

  • Off Topic:
The Kessel run consisted of multiple jumps through hyperspace in order to avoid celestial objects that obstructed a straight run.
Ships would drop out of hyperspace, re-orientate for the next jump , and continue on.

The standard route was 18 parsecs.

The Falcons heavily modified nav system calculated a shorter route than was thought possible at that time.

It wasn't real though. The writer could have written 17 instead of 18 parsecs and that falcon thing could have done it in 3.
    It's a story.
  • 1st: I had a suspicion it was a story, thank you for clarifying.
2nd: It would be way cool in VR.
3rd: 'that falcon thing'..., falcon thing..., really?
