New theory of Parkinson's Disease

I want to open up a discussion about the possibility that PD could actually just be judder from an old runtime, rather than being neurological in basis as previously thought, which is going to be my PhD thesis. It would require a lot more research into the brain, including research that substantiates my contention that the brain actually does run runtime software implanted there by a divine creator, which is the key assumption upon which the entire theory rests.

Any medical students or physicans here, BTW?

I got the idea from Dr. Andrew Wachowski, originally.

Here is a link to one of his key research papers. It's actually an extremely popular paper:

The first paper is popular. The followup research lacked cohesion and a valid summary.
  • I am not sure you are honest about considering this as a PhD paper for a scientific subject, that may not be a wise career choice? hmmm... iz you be theo trollinz?

    That aside:

I'm no Doctor, but I am a software engineer with a degree in electronics. From my perspective, it makes more sense that the insulators (myelin sheaths) are degrading as opposed to a program getting "glitchy".

Such a low level program implanted by some creator would have no reason to get glitchy by itself, even earthly embedded software engineers can get that right. The only reason it would glitch is if:

[1] the creator made it so using instructions to write over program memory. ( sadistic embedded software engineer ).
[2] the creator made it look like this using routines that emulate corruption. ( twisted embedded software engineer ).
[3] the program ran out of working or storage memory and did not handle it correctly. ( incompetent embedded software engineer ).
[4] the hardware on which it runs becomes corrupted ( existing theory of PD ).

    P.S.
I can't talk of a superior creator either way, I think both Atheists and Theists are egotistical assumers, as such I remain agnostic. I also seem to remember religious debate not being welcome in this forum?

I just "read it" wit so dry I now have chapped lips.

    I was theo trolled
  • theo trolled: trolled into a theological subject.

Theology is the systematic and rational study of concepts of God and of the nature of religious ideas

Such debate is not welcome on engineering forums like this.

Just one initial theo troll post can cause an avalanche that could well bury even the most Sherpa like of board moderators. By responding to theological content; I myself have trollishly soiled the forum. Thank Zeus it's only a little soiling in the lounge area.

Yes neo trolled would probably work better in this case.

Neo was the main character in "The Matrix", OP linked to the script for the movie as an academic paper related to his new theory: PD is juddery runtime lol.
