Oculus DK2 misleading advertising in Spain.

I think the right thing to inform you about a television program in Spain to publicized the DK2, changing the device name, the name of the creator and especially called augmented reality glasses. That is why I inform you in case you want to take legal action against the broadcaster. It is a shame to report something no idea what they are talking.
The program can see it on youtube:

Program name El Hormiguero, Antena 3 television.

If we want the virtual reality reach all households, the least you can do is denounce this kind of erroneous information, not to mislead the consumer.

Finally if you allow me, I advise you to contact the program in question to make a public rectification. Since they have advertised the company that made them DK2 and not the true creators.

Greetings from Spain and forgive my English, I use google translator.

If companies tried to pursue every petty issue around the globe the legal costs alone would bankrupt them.

Why do you care so much?
The first comment in that video calls in the Oculus Rift, the strap on the headset still says Oculus. Not sure what there end game is… to buy a whole bunch of headsets from Oculus and then charge them for more? Anyone fooled by that deserves to be parted with their money. Life learning lessons they desperately need since they were born yesterday.
  • They shouldn't really need to do any legal action tbh. It's a DK1, and the plans for it are open source. I would suggest that Oculus call the station, inform them of what's going on, and suggest that they do a public correction for journalistic integrity, and have them link to the Oculus website for more information.

Edit: If he was going to market with that specific headset, with the big words, OCULUS, on the strap, then yes, Oculus has a trademark infringement case against whoever that is. If he does away with the trademark, and uses a pure black strap, then it's just a knockoff of a DK1.
