  • Yeah, it could be used for industrial robots. But this could also be used for military robots. A sword can cut both ways.

Since war isn't something we can always avoid- the less people that die, the better.
  • What a nice random spot for my first post. I have a business suggestion for Oculus. They should formalize their relationships with Omni and Stem....The three of them could be the Holy Trinity of gaming....game developers would then know exactly what they had to do...none of this making a game compatible for Ps3 controller or some other controller or for 3 different HDV's....they want certainty and these three are the best at what they do right now...stay on top!

I have spent all day watching videos from the three companies, they seem perfect for each other. Yes, I know they are cooperating with stuff....I am saying make it offical, formalize the relationship....I'm not saying pick a CEO from the three...just share the vision of home VR gaming and entertainment...Now is the time to do it...The competition needs Head gear, controllers, and motion too. Don't let them sign contracts with the STEM or OMNI people first.....I don't want anyone from Oculus responding to this posting.....I don't believe this hasn't crossed any of your minds....I just want to add my voice and sense of urgency for this. 2014 will be year home VR gaming started. (we don't say the internet started in the 1970's so you know what I mean) They will talk about Oculus, Omni, and STEM in the future like we talk about the Atari 2600.
......settle on the standard now and let the developers explode.....go buy the name "Trinity Gaming" you guys should all stay independently run but share a "Brand name" so when people say, "hey, I want a home VR system" They just tell the merchant I want a "Trinity" or go to the Trinity Gaming website and order one.
.....You gots to make it simple for us people. We don't go buy cars by choosing the tires, engine, then the body. You buy a Ford 150 and pick a color...that is how we American's buy things. I want a Ps3. I want a Trinity. The name doesn't matter, it just need to be recognized. How about a "Rift" system. I'm buying a Rift tomorrow.
.......You guys all have people you pay to come up with this stuff. Get reps from all three companies and figure out how you guys can own the future of VR! together.........I'm all in with the 3 companies....just like I mocked those that thought Betamax was going to beat VCR........I put my money where my mouth is.
