Oculus licensing rules

Hi there,

I have a question on licensing rules, based on the following license agreement : https://developer.oculus.com/licenses/license-3.2/

I'm developing content on Unity designed for Oculus, and would like :
- to give access to this content to people in showrooms for a price of X$
- to give access to this content and my Oculus to companies for their showrooms, for a price of Y$

I can't figure out whether or not it's legal, based on the license agreement below.

Can someone explain me ?

Thanks a lot

  • Unfortunately, using the device for commercial use (for example, renting out the headset) is not permitted. However, you are allowed to sell your own game/experience, or showcase your own content (provided you aren't charging people to use the headset).

See this article for more details:

Ok, thank you for your answer. I still have a question. Is it allowed to charge X$ for my experience - given that :
    - I develop the content
    - I provide the Oculus needed to enjoy the experience
So I wouldn't sell or rent the headset, but only provide it to give access to my experience.

    Thanks a lot,
