Anybody else mix their own seasoning for chips? :)
The local Chooks take away had great chips, but they closed down.
My favourite at the moment is PJ Steaks at West End, their beer batter chips are always perfect (plus the philly cheese steaks are great).

Vinegar with mine, please.
Of course the true chip connoisseur method is to take a sip of vinegar while eating, not to sprinkle or dip. It preserves maximum exterior crunch for as long as possible.
Other good chip places:
- Da Burger
- Nandos
But for simple walking around chip urge, Red Rooster works well.
I'm not a fan of the "chips covered with everything" style I've seen around lately. All the melted cheese, sauces, meat, etc piled on top. By the time you get part way down all the remaining chips are a soggy mess. I wanted chips, not mashed potato!

Excuse me, you seem to have dropped someone else's meal on top of my chips.
