Ambulance people are awesome, as is the NHS. Just waiting for an x Ray. Think I've broken it in 2 places. Hopefully it'll just be a plaster job and won't need surgery! :(

It's all healing nicely so far apparently. The nurse took out my 23 stitches earlier :o So glad to get rid of them, they were itching like CRAZY these last few days. Got to keep the dressing they put on for 3 days and then I can FINALLY have a shower. Have been washing in a bowl of water until now :o With a bit of luck I MIGHT be able to walk around without my space boot in 6 weeks! B) Next up is a physio appointment on 4th September.

My mate Mark was good enough to come in and bring me some clothes, my mp3 player and my mobile phone charger. The guy is amazing. He also helped me and my Mum when I was having problems with my benefits a while back. Such a great guy. I probably owe him LOADS of drinks by now lol

I think after 2 weeks they're going to change the cast if all is going well. I'm going to have to go in again in 7 days to have it x rayed to see how it's doing.What I REALLY want to avoid is surgery because it's high risk. There's a chance I could lose the leg. :o :(

Just had a visit from a care worker or home support type person. She was really nice. So good that we have these things available in this country, and all for free too.I slag off this country a fair bit as far as crime and stuff goes but the NHS really is amazing.

I think he was joking. Got a lol from me anyway lmfao :D :D :D Mind you, I am accused of being 'A nasty piece of work' on the interwebs, so who knows? :o :tongue: And @WreckLuse68 that should be 'couldn't have' not 'couldn't of' B)

Nooooo Harv, did you drop at home ? Did you take your insulin ? Silly dog !!!! Keep us informed. What ambo service ? Need to know if I can slag em off I am allowed to ;) get well and stay safe. Them nurses like fiddling !!!!

By hypo, you mean hypoglycaemic? well hope you have a quick recovery... and presumably only seated VR for you for a while.

Damn, hope that all it takes is vannagirl dressing up as a nurse and threat you with a surenge. And you will be back up and jumping around in no time.

However, will it give you more time in VR with a broken limb ?
Then it might just be worth it.

Ambulance staff were awesome. Ambulance staff are ALWAYS awesome.

Just found out I'll need surgery. Just an overnight stay though. Am waiting to see the bone doctor now.
