Honestly, at this point I'm seeing so many rumors that I'm just going to start my own.

I heard the Quest 4 will have:

  • 16K per‑eye resolution powered by a single AA battery
  • A built‑in air fryer so you can make nuggets between Beat Saber songs
  • Eye‑tracked ads that apologize if you look annoyed
  • A "Meta Smell Engine" that releases scents like "New Headset Plastic" and "Regret"
  • A passthrough mode so sharp it can see into next week
  • A GPU so powerful it needs emotional support
  • A feature that automatically ends your VR session when you start ranting on forums (so some of us are doomed)


Until Meta confirms anything, I'm treating all rumors equally - which is to say, with the same seriousness I treat a raccoon wearing a lab coat.

Are you getting some benefits for being active on the forum and pushing against anything negative towards Meta?

    Oh absolutely - your rumor is very realistic.

    In fact, I just saw an even more realistic one:

    Quest 4 will feature:

    • A self‑healing display that fixes dead pixels by whispering affirmations
    • Dynamic resolution scaling based on how disappointed you look
    • A "Meta Loyalty Detector" that boots you from VR if you say something nice about Apple
    • Thermal management powered by user frustration
    • And of course, panels sourced from a secret warehouse where Meta keeps all the good decisions they almost made


    As for me "pushing against negativity," I promise I'm not getting Meta Bucks™, Meta Points™, or a Meta‑branded tote bag.

    I just like separating rumors from prophecies carved into stone tablets.
