Please add tapatalk support to the forum

Tapatalk integration is one of the most annoying things I come across when browsing the web from my iPad. Well and good if forum admins like to integrate support but the default integration pops up an alert every time I visit an enabled forum.

This gets old real fast, especially for folks like me who like to open a new link in a background tab so that they can continue reading their current page - and then have that irritating javascript alert pop up as the page loads and interrupt them anyhow!

Forum admins: if you choose to integrate tapatalk please for {insert preferred deity}'s sake turn off that blasted popup!

I'm with ChrisC on this one... that pop-up drives me away from forums more often than not. It wont drive me away from this one, but if it's decided to integrate tapatalk, removing that popup would be greatly appreciated.

+1 for tapatalk integration... and yes make sure you dont show the popup all the time :)

90% of the time I'm in a forum is through the tapatalk... it's a incredible tool..

It may or may not be an incredible tool but its makers are responsible for irritating, on a daily basis, millions of iOS users who have chosen not to use it. They even ask (in their FAQ) that site admins not disable the pop-up, so clearly they are well aware of its effect.

Personally I don't think they deserve community support because of this. Yes, it's nice for you, but the majority of us who choose not to use it may disagree.

(And for the record, I have tried it, didn't like it, and uninstalled it. So it is a conscious choice. I still get hassled to install it each time I visit an enabled forum).

It's the first time I ever heard of any complaints about this... and if the "annoying pop-up" isn't mandatory, I don't see why not give the support... It will make no diference to you, but great diference for the tapatalk users... you should stop complain about the integration... looks more like a personal feud than anything else ...

Yeah.. its just a popup the admin of the board can disable...

Another vote for it from me. :) Are there any similar applications on the market out of interest?

There is also forumrunner but their API isn't open. I think tapatalk is the market leader.

Regarding the popups, don't they set a cookie so you only see it once?
