Hehe, on the 4D/85GT workstation at 640x480 the max framerate without cockpit displays was 15fps.
At 1280x1024 it was running at 5fps in some cases.

I once found the pilot's manual for the Apache helicopter on a military site (just with google, I wasn't hacking). Fascinating stuff. The pilot and the gunner can transfer targets between each other and control different weapon systems.
(I wish Eagle Dynamics would do an Apache simulator. The KA-50 Blackshark is cool, but I'd prefer an Apache. Instead their latest game is a UH-1 Huey)
