Quakecon 2013

Last year, Carmack did an OR demo, do you think we will see a demo this year? Maybe see some improvements, or the latest developments? has anyone heard any rumors?

I would love to hear something from Carmack on Doom/Rift.
Has he posted any new information and I just missed it ? He's a good guy to have around, but it seems he has left the Oculus World...
  • I may just walk around with the OR on my head. Be a VR hipster

Another good questions is whether Oculus VR will have their own booth for Oculus Rift this year at QuakeCon 2013?

I believe that QuakeCon have exhibition booths from all sorts of sponsors and vendors to showcase the newest games and hardware being developed by companies related to id Software and and ZeniMax, including booths selling clothing, computer peripherals, and software.

Why not have Oculus VR themselves demoing Oculus Rift with Doom 3 BFG and Rage? Or dare we even hope, Doom4?

Perhaps they could even make a repeat of the success they had with their booth at GDC 2013
