Short answer : Yes, the same CV1 desktop configuration specs apply regardless of that screen size.
Stupid answer : The same CV1 desktop configuration specs apply even if you unplug your TV while using your CV1 :P
HOWEVER be aware that as far as non-VR gaming on a 40+ inch monitor goes, those huge 40+ inch TVs have a few game frames worth of latency built-in them (sometimes a LOT, even the most expensive ones), which even their best latency reducing "game mode" won't help remove.
So if you're into twitch games, you might want to buy yourself a zero latency monitor, which last time I checked didn't and couldn't go above 30 inch.
Also an oversized gaming screen might do you more harm then good : You should make sure you can see the whole screen without having to move your head around, so if you value your response time and your neck, don't go putting your nose on a 60 inch screen for your TV gaming :)
