There was a kickstarter for a ring that contained an rfid chip (actually, two). If you had a mobile phone with NFC you could unlock it just by picking it up. You could put rfid sensors around your house and do things like unlock doors or turn things on/off just by waving your hand near them.
(I would have bought one, except I don't like wearing rings and I really wanted it for unlocking card doors at my work, but they don't use rfid frequency)
