    WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE OCULUS RIFT? :D not to be rude, but this couldve been in the lounge section viewforum.php?f=24 , and even then we cant just revert to giving technology updates here. Its the rift forum, not cnet.

    The reason curved screens are exciting is that they would be very useful getting a better FOV. There's only so large of a FOV we can do with a flat screen and lenses. It is likely Rift 3.0 or something like that will use a curved screen if the technology progresses.

    Really excited to see them finally coming out! Don't really care about them in phones though... Unless they do something exciting I can't think of with them.

    Edit: Wow, the phone (Limited release in South Korea only), costs $1000.00 dollars! I wonder how much of that is screen cost...
