"Second life" for VR Virtual home/businesss

This is down the track a bit, well a lot lol. I think its the kind of vision facebook has for where VR will go. Imagine submitting a brief to a VR architect of your dream home and having it built for you virtually down to the sounds and the view from your window. Picture frames on your walls hold your real world pictures. A home cinema with virtual surround sound ( u hear it as surround sound in the room but if u leave it playing and go to the next room u hear it coming from the room u left in your surround sound head phones.

hand gestures and voice commands would be a big player and teleporting within your house or out into the virtual world.

Walk up to a screen on your 'wall' and swipe through web pages for listings of virtual shops. virtual shops could be detailed adds for the likes of clothes shops for either virtual clothes for your avatar or real clothes sent to you if you have an acurate avatar you could try them on vertualy to see how they look. Restaurants so you get a sense of the atmosphere before going there in real life. I know its a jump but picture an arena for an e-sport where you can sit next to your friends with front row seats and talk to them about the game. Or an office for your architect where you walk up to a personal assistant who is controlled by a real consultant to talk about the details of the virtual house you want built, down to the sound scape and custom assets. Sure you could give people the tools to build there own houses and that is where it will start but some people will want more customized assets/ sound scapes than those diy tools could offer.

Its freaky but its within 20 years kind of stuff if not sooner if VR really takes off big time.

Great time to be into VR :D
