Well, that works. :)

I can confirm my retinas are seeing the YouTube embed, nice!
Maybe they've just forgotten about the YT embedding and will add the proper button to the menu.
As it is we only get the option to view source code for the thread's initial post, not for any subsequent replies... so that's the only place we can stick the vid right now, another unintentional omission? maybe that'll get added too.
So, until they add a button... the embedding requires that the thread is created and the post is then edited using the source code view option (very top right-hand gear symbol), the text to copy in is:
<p>Thread's text goes here</p>
<li-video src="//cdn.embedly.com/widgets/media.html?src=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fembed%2Fxxxxxxxxxxx%3Ffeature%3Doembed&display_name=YouTube&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dxxxxxxxxxxx&image=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2Fxxxxxxxxxxx%2Fhqdefault.jpg&type=text%2Fhtml&schema=youtube" vid="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxxx/1752278435504" external="url" thumbnail="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/xxxxxxxxxxx/hqdefault.jpg" title="Video title goes here" align="center" size="large" layout="stretch" resized="false" caption="false"></li-video>
<p> </p>Substitute the 11 character x's with the YouTube vid's 11 character embedding code (in 5 places), and the video title where it says. The post I copied the code from seems to have used a widget from Embedly.com, I'll have to check it out, maybe that'll let us embed anywhere, not just the initial post.

The Community Manager Kevin informed me that he has activated an option to embed videos - it should look like this:
So it should be simple and no need for codes anymore 🤞
