  • It worked to get him banned.
    The post contained (before I edited it) a tracking image hosted on a private server running through ngrok.
    But he didn't realise that every time you start ngrok it generates a new url, so the image url was already invalid.
    So the attempt at tracking users on here was pretty garbage. :)

    (ngrok is a service that lets you hide servers behind an ngrok hosted url. Some of its recent uses include crypto mining botnets)
