Try it in 30 degrees C... crazy..
hot very hot..
All I do is sweat my forehead off. - Cpt_CustardAdventurerIt does not help if you are unfit, VR will make you sweat if you move about a lot. I live in the UK so during winter it keeps me warm :D
- Snot_ShotExpert ProtegeMine is only slightly warm too. On few occasions done 4 hours straight in Dead & Burried and had no problem with heat.

I did, during summer. The hot was the heat outside, not the headset. Sure, it doesn't cool you down, but you can't blame the headset when it's hot outside. - BeastyBaiterSuperstarI've gotten hot playing in VR, but it was always cause I was punching the crap out of robots or the AC couldn't overcome the sun. The headset certainly doesn't help as it does get warm, but I wouldn't call it hot. Probably the biggest issue is that it blocks airflow to your face.

It gets hot in combination with the external heat, you are right.
But there should be some thought to the airflow. - FazzHonored VisionaryBuy a fan and stick it behind you, job done.

What do you suggest? It's a bit pointless making a post without suggesting anything. Sticking fans in the headset would be like switching on a car heater while the engine is hot. They could open the headset more but people would moan a bucket full that it ruined their immersion. So what do you suggest other then what I've suggested? Even using a fan to suck hot air out of the back would make things hotter because you would be in close proximity to the hot air been blown out. - VrSpongeExpert Protege
