The late night shft.. Anyone else? Anyone out there working the late nights?

Feel your pain - am in China on business, soon off to US so working round the clock with clients and trying to keep up with general chat on the forum. So yeah, working the wee hours :)

Only poor people work night shift. :p

I kinda miss it, actually.  It's always nice and quiet, fewer people around.

my next night shifts is tuesday night. I am still recovering from the one I did on my original post 2 nights ago.
Will send another message when I am on night shift.

The late night shift is back friends.
I turned up to work tonight and my co-worker was off his face on something.
Friggen nuts, hey. His face was going haywire.. looking everywhere and randomly talking rubbish.
My client go upset with me and kicked me out of there house.
So just chilling at the moment.. 
How is everyone else's night shift going?

I wish my life was as complex as yours Molokow. Maybe your co-worker has been licking frogs? Eww maybe he's been licking you on the sly.

Drama.

I dont know dude. He off his chops. He was talking some random shit. I wish I recorded it..
BUt probably get into shit for that.
My client let me back inside now .. so that is great !

It's you, isn't it?  It was you all along!

@ molokow Once upon a time there was a man, a shadow, a solitary, sneaking shape creeping in the dark to avoid the gaze of prying eyes.  It's late, and  time for the night shift to begin. People can be heard in the distance joking among themselves filling the night air with raucous ambience.  Rather than dwell on their exuberant tones, without  a sound the shadow  darts between two buildings which are bathed in a slither of light from a nearby street lamp. You can see the detail of his face, the reflection of dancing light on his misty cold breath but little else. The shadow is merely a darkness  against a backdrop of suspenseful mystery.  

"It's cold..." the shadow mutters under his breath as if needing to reassure himself why he's out this late rather than  smothering his bed with receptive shifting.

Suddenly there's a loud crash like the sound of metallic bins being disturbed by rampant foxes of the night.  

"Cover's blown" he growls

There's a commotion. A nearby window swings open, a woman wearing curlers peers out into the night, illuminating light pours into the darkness from behind her creating a larger than life silhouette on the ground. Without breaking  a sweat the shadow evades the light beams which cut through the darkness like sharpened daggers looking for sweet flesh to dive into. Moves behind a wall , then slithers off into nothing like a ghost with plentiful souls to visit. 

"Next time" he murmurs before becoming nothing but a shadow of his former self. Embers of black smoke and a charred scent.
