I bought a Quest 3 and it had dead and even a bright pixel right in the middle of the screen. So I bought another one and the same problem :/ eBay had a recent event of £75 off and so I bought another one and I picked it up out of the box and noticed the sound of something inside the headset, so I shook it around and there is a rattle in there with something getting stuck in the fan.
Like.... Can't you guys make headsets without faults?
You're either the unluckiest person on the planet or you got ripped off on eBay. I reckon you got ripped off. Only buy from trusted sources.
eBay isn't just buying used off of people, there are official stores on it selling new..... I just buy from eBay cause they always have offers no other site selling the headset does.

...that's not an authorized Meta Quest dealer.
You risk having no warranty, even if you bought a new device, if you don't buy it from an authorized retailer.
It's better to buy from one of these stores.
There's no way 3 devices in a row were faulty. You were scammed for sure. Getting one broken one brand new is just about impossible, though not totally impossible if the package was kicked around like a football ......but three? No chance. I smell bs from the seller....or you đŸ˜‰

Brand new and sealed and you can see it clearly hasn't been used before and the box is in good condition.... Just broken.
And I still have a picture of one of the brand new units I bought with a dead pixel, but not of the bright pixel as I deleted them all after getting a refund from the store.

Just poor quality control from Meta and nothing to do with being scammed. How can an officially sealed box be a scam?
