This website should remember where I was heading!

Hi,

This is a minor bugbear I have but if I find something on Google or find a link to an item in this forum on a another website.. I always get taken to the front page and not the link I wanted (this is after logging in) - usually a site will remember where I wanted to go and take me there.

    Well this is a slightly tweaked PHPBB forum, of pretty old version, and it simply doesn't have this feature.

    Just open login page in another tab and once you've finished, clse that tab and refresh your initial page.

    The problem is that the cookies on the whole dev center are messed up and reset all the time. Which means you have to login constantly. I've been trying to get this fixed forever, let me see if I can bug the developers again.

    I suggest if this community was to ever change their software then the forums should be powered by Xenforo. Not only will it make the community a lot more active, but it is also very powerful.
