Tired of hearing the same old shipping BS!

Why do companies send emails stating that an item has shipped, when all that has happened is the printing of a label.

Because of covid that label may sit in an out box for days or weeks, before being applied to a box and that box being handed over to a driver.

  • So....companies are short staffed/can’t all be in the office because of COVID, and clearly are behind because of such, but you think they should put their resources toward redesigning their automated system notifications instead of sending stuff out as quick as possible?  Since you already seem to understand the situation, how does it throw you off? I get wanting something badly, but my word people, have some damn understanding in these unprecedented work conditions that none of us ever could’ve possibly prepared for. It’s not like bigger companies had spare buildings sitting around to spread all their employees out in case a pandemic hit. 
  • Also, the fact that you’re hearing the same issue from many companies somehow makes you LESS understanding?!

    This has been going on way before covid, so they have had plenty of time to fix it.

    They haven't, because not enough customers have complained about it.
